Health Hazards Acute and Chronic:COOL SOLID MAT'L NOT EXPECTED TO CAUSE
    EYE/SKIN IRRIT, NOR ACUTE SYSTEMIC TOXICITY BY INGEST. HEATED:
    RESPIRATORY TRACT IRRIT, HEADACHES, DIZZINESS, NAUSEA, GI TRACT
    IRRIT, COUGHING, SENSATION OF DRYN ESS & PAIN OF NOSE, THROAT,
    CHEST. CONFUSION & UNCONSCIOUSNESS. DEATH OCCURED FOLLOWING EXPOS
    TO 600 PPM.
Effects of Overexposure:UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT, EYE AND SKIN
    IRRITATION. FUMES FROM HOT MATERIAL MAY CAUSE NAUSEA AND IRRITATION
    OF UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT.
Medical Cond Aggravated by Exposure:NONE KNOWN.

=======================  First Aid Measures  =======================

Eyes: IF HOT MAT'L: FLUSH IMMED W/FRESH WATER, HOLDING
    EYELIDS OPEN. SEE DR. SKIN: IF HOT MAT'L: QUICKLY COOL IN WATER.
    SEE DR FOR EXTENSIVE BURNS. DON'T TRY TO PEEL SOLIDIFIED MAT'L FROM
    SKIN OR USE SOLVENTS OR THINNER TO DISSOLVE IT. THEUSE OF
    VEGETABLE/MINERAL OIL IS RECOMMENDED FOR REMOVAL. INHAL: IF
    SYMPTOMS/SIGNS, MOVE TO FRESH AIR. IF BREATH STOPPED, GIVE
    ARTIFICIAL RESPIRATION. CALL DR.

=====================  Fire Fighting Measures  =====================

Flash Point Method:COC
Flash Point:500+F,260+C
Autoignition Temp:Autoignition Temp Text:600F
Extinguishing Media:FOAM, WATER SPRAY, (FOG), DRY CHEMICAL, CO2.
Fire Fighting Procedures:MINIMUM BREATHING OF VAPORS, GASSES, FUMES OR
    DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS, USE SUPPLIED AIR BREATHING EQUIPMENT FOR
    ENCLOSED OR CONFINED SPACES.
Unusual Fire/Explosion Hazard:HEATED ABOVE FLASH POINT, MAT'L WILL
    RELEASE FLAMM VAPOR, CAN BURN/BE EXPLOS IN CONFINED SPACES IF
    IGNITED. DON'T MIX W/STRONG OXIDANTS (LIQ CHLORINE/OXYGEN).

==================  Accidental Release Measures  ==================

Spill Release Procedures:ELIMINATE IGNITION SOURCES. RECOVER FREE
    PRODUCT. ADD SAND, EARTH OR OTHER SUITABLE ABSORBENT TO SPILL AREA.
    LET COOL. SCRAPE UP INTO SUITABLE CONTAINERS.

======================	Handling and Storage  ======================

Handling and Storage Precautions:AVOID OPEN FLAMES, HEALTH STUDIES HAVE
    SHOWN THAT MANY PETROLEUM HYDROCARBONS POSE POTENTIAL HUMAN HEALTH
    RISKS WHICH MAY VARY FROM PERSON TO PERSON.
Other Precautions:MINIMIZE BREATHING VAPOR MIST AND FUMES. AVOID
    PROLONGED AND REPEATED CONTACT WITH SKIN.

=============  Exposure Controls/Personal Protection  =============

Respiratory Protection:USE SUPPLIED AIR RESPIRATOR IN CONFINED AREAS OR
    WHEN VAPORS EXCEED TLV LIMITS.
Ventilation:LOCAL EXHAUST: IN ENCLOSED AREAS. MECHANICAL (GENERAL): IN
    ENCLOSED AREAS.
Other Protective Equipment:BRIEF OR INTERMITTENT SKIN CONTACT WITH THIS
    ASPHALT PRODUCT IS NOT EXPECTED TO PRODUCE ANY SERIOUS EFFECTS.
