    lung congestion, blood disorders, kidney damage, liver damage,
    convulsions, coma LONG TERM EXPOSURE: lung damage SKIN CONTACT:
    SHORT TERM EXPOSURE: irritation, blisters LONG TERM EXPOSURE: same
    as effects reported in short term exposure EYE CONTACT: SHORT TERM
    EXPOSURE: irritation, blurred vision LONG TERM EXPOSURE: same as
    effects reported in short term exposure INGESTION: SHORT TERM
    EXPOSURE: same as effects reported in other routes of exposure,
    frostbite LONG TERM EXPOSURE: no information is available
Medical Cond Aggravated by Exposure:

=======================  First Aid Measures  =======================

First Aid: INHALATION: If adverse effects occur, remove to
    uncontaminated area. Give artificial respiration if not breathing.
    If breathing is difficult, oxygen should be administered by
    qualified personnel. Get immediate medical attention. SKIN CONTACT:
    If frostbite or freezing occur, immediately flush with plenty of
    lukewarm water (105-115 F; 41-46 C). DO NOT USE HOT WATER. If warm
    water is not available, gently wrap affected parts in blankets. Get
    immediate medical attention. EYE CONTACT: Wash eyes immediately
    with large amounts of water, occasionally lifting upper and lower
    lids, until no evidence of chemical remains. Get medical attention
    immediately. INGESTION: If a large amount is swallowed, get medical
    attention. ANTIDOTE: amyl nitrite, inhalation; sodium nitrite,
    intravenous; pyridoxine, intravenous; urea, intravenous. CAUTION!
    Get medical attention immediately.

=====================  Fire Fighting Measures  =====================

Flash Point:<0 F (<-18 C) (OC)
Lower Limits:3.9%
Upper Limits:21.8%
Extinguishing Media:alcohol resistant foam Let burn unless leak can be
    stopped immediately. Large fires: Use regular foam or flood with
    fine water spray.
Fire Fighting Procedures:Move container from fire area if it can be
    done without risk. Withdraw immediately in case of rising sound
    from venting safety device or any discoloration of tanks due to
    fire. Cool containers with water spray until well after the fire is
    out. Keep unnecessary people away, isolate hazard area and deny
    entry. For tank, rail car or tank truck, evacuation radius:
    Evacuation radius: 800 meters (1/2 mile).
Unusual Fire/Explosion Hazard:Severe fire hazard. The vapor is heavier
    than air. Vapors or gases may ignite at distant ignition sources
    and flash back. Vapor/air mixtures are explosive. Electrostatic
    discharges may be generated by flow or agitation resulting in
    ignition or explosion.

==================  Accidental Release Measures  ==================

Neutralizing Agent:

======================	Handling and Storage  ======================

Handling and Storage Precautions:Store and handle in accordance with
    all current regulations and standards. Subject to storage
    regulations: U.S. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.101. Grounding and bonding
    required. Keep separated from incompatible substances. Notify State
    Emergency Response Commission for storage or use at amounts greater
    than or equal to the TPQ (U.S. EPA SARA Section 302). SARA Section
    303 requires facilities storing a material with a TPQ to
    participate in local emergency response planning (U.S. EPA 40 CFR
    355.30).
Other Precautions:

=============  Exposure Controls/Personal Protection  =============

Respiratory Protection:The following respirators and maximum use
    concentrations are drawn from NIOSH and/or OSHA. 5 ppm Any chemical
    cartridge respirator with organic vapor cartridge(s). Any
    supplied-air respirator. 12.5 ppm Any supplied-air respirator. Any
    powered, air-purifying respirator with organic vapor cartridge(s).
    25 ppm Any chemical cartridge respirator with a full facepiece and
    organic vapor cartridge(s). Any air-purifying respirator with a
    full facepiece and an organic vapor canister. Any powered,
    air-purifying respirator with a full facepiece and organic vapor
    cartridge(s). Any supplied-air respirator with a full facepiece.
    Any self-contained breathing apparatus with a full facepiece. Any
    supplied-air respirator with a full facepiece. 150 ppm Any
    supplied-air respirator operated in a pressure-demand or other
    positive-pressure mode. Escape - Any air-purifying respirator with
    a full facepiece and an organic vapor canister. Any appropriate
    escape-type, self-contained breathing apparatus. For Unknown
    Concentrations or Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health - Any
    supplied-air respirator with full facepiece and operated in a
    pressure-demand or other positive-pressure mode in combination with
    a separate escape supply. Any self-contained breathing apparatus
    with a full facepiece.
Ventilation:Provide local exhaust or process enclosure ventilation
    system. Ventilation equipment should be explosion-resistant if
    explosive concentrations of material are present. Ensure compliance
    with applicable exposure limits.
Protective Gloves:Wear insulated gloves.
Eye Protection:Wear splash resistant safety goggles with a faceshield.
    Provide an emergency eye wash fountain and quick drench shower in
    the immediate work area.
Other Protective Equipment:For the gas: Wear appropriate chemical
    resistant clothing. For the liquid: Wear appropriate protective,
    cold insulating clothing.
