COMPOSITION
SOF®CHINK is an extruded, dry, pre-formed foam gasket made of a non-absorbing skin and a soft, highly resilient interior network of open and
closed cells. It has low water vapor permeability making SOF®CHINK a higher performer than fiberglass if condensation is formed by moisture
laden air leaking through wall cavities.
BENEFITS
The Bi-cellular composition of this product outperforms closed cell backer rod, with its ability to resist “creep�? and compression set. The foam is
super resilient and able to conform to irregular contours without leaving voids. This feature provides superior ability to eliminate drafts when used
as an environmental seal.
INSTALLATION
Verify that the joint is clean, moisture free and clear of obstructions. Select the diameter that is 25-50% larger than the joint opening. Position
SOF®CHINK uniformly into the joint using a blunt tool. You may dispense 3/8�? through 1 1/8�? directly from the reel or handy pack.
