Swallowed:
Not a likely source of exposure. Product is a gas.

Eye:
If contents of cylinder are vented directly into the eyes then blindness may occur due to freeze burns. Keep victim calm
and warm. In case of freeze burns URGENTLY transport to hospital or doctor. In normal use situations, however, if
material is splashed or lightly sprayed into eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, ensuring eye lids are
held open. If irritation persists transport to hospital or doctor.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Approach spill / punctured can-area cautiously.
SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
HAZARDS FROM COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: On combustion or on thermal decomposition (pyrolysis), there
will be a release of bromine and bromine entities and toxic smoke.
PRECAUTIONS FOR FIRE FIGHTERS AND SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Self-contained
breathing apparatus (SCBA) required for fire -fighting personnel. If possible to do so safely, shut off fuel to fire. Use
water spray to spray to cool fire-exposed surfaces and to protect personnel. If large number of cans have
burst/punctured, remove all unnecessary personnel from the area and allow the propellant to evaporate to the
atmosphere.

Flammability:
This material is a FLAMMABLE liquefied gas.
Flash Point: < 23掳C
Flammability Limits Lower: 4.0 Upper: 7.8 (vol / vol %)

Hazchem Code: 3[Y]E [Aust]

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Emergency Procedures:
Aerosol can, flammable contents. Avoid all sources of ignition. Approach spill / punctured can-area cautiously. If large
number of cans have burst/punctured, remove all unnecessary personnel from the area and allow the propellant to
evaporate to the atmosphere. Wear suitable protective equipment as outlined under personal protection in this MSDS.

Methods and Materials for Containment and Clean Up Procedures:
When safe, (IF UNSURE, CONSULT AN EXPERT) approach area and place foam, vermiculite or diatomaceous earth
on spill and then scoop up with non-sparking tools and place into suitably labeled drum for later disposal.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Precautions for Safe Handling:
Avoid breathing vapours. Provide adequate ventilation. Store in a cool place and out of direct sunlight. Store away
from sources of heat, ignition, sparks, flames or electrical discharges. All equipment must be earthed. Do not store
above 508 C. Store away from oxidizing agents. Store in original cylinders as approved by manufacturer.

Conditions for Safe Storage:
Keep containers tightly closed, when not using the product. Store away from strong alkalis, acids and oxidizing agents.
For further information please refer to the Engineering Controls of this MSDS.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Exposure Standards

No exposure standards are available for this product, however, the following exposure standards have been assigned by
the [NOHSC] to the following component of the product.

CARBON DIOXIDE
[NOHSC]
3
[TWA]5,000 ppm 9,000 mg/m
3
[STEL]30,000 ppm 54,000 mg/m

References: H

Engineering Controls
Absolutely no smoking or other sources of ignition. Maintain adequate ventilation. The use of natural ventilation
systems are adequate unless the gas is being used in a process , then the use of a local exhaust ventilation system is
recommended.

Personal Protection Equipment
GLOVES: Nitrile.
EYES: Chemical goggles or spectacles with side shields to protect eyes.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Avoid breathing of vapours or aerosols. Select and use respirators in accordance
with AS/NZS 1715/1716. When concentration of vapours or aerosols approach the exposure standards then the use of a
half-face respirator fitted with an organic vapour cartridge is recommended. For high concentration use an atmosphere-
supplied, positive pressure demand self-contained or airline breathing apparatus, complying with the requirements of
AS/NZS 1715 is recommended. Filter capacity and respirator type depends on exposure levels and type of contaminant.
If entering spaces where the airborne concentration of a contaminant is unknown then the use of a Self-contained
breathing apparatus (SCBA) with positive pressure air supply complying with AS/NZS 1715 / 1716, or any other
acceptable International Standard is recommended.
