Conditions to avoid: Open storage; excess heat, moisture; combinations with oxidizers or oxidizable materials.
Incompatibility: Ammonia, amines, ammonium compounds, reducing agents, oxidizable or combustible organics,
strong oxidizers, acids, alkalis.
Hazardous Decomposition By-products: Chlorine, cynaogen chloride, nitrogen trichloride, ammonia, carbon
dioxide.

Section VI - Health Hazard Data
ROUTES OF EXPOSURE
Inhalation: Dusts may cause severe burning and tissue damage to respiratory tract.
Skin Contact: May cause severe irritation or burning of tissues.
Eye Contact: Causes severe tissue damage leading to potential blindness.
Ingestion: Causes severe burning and tissue damage to mucous membranes of the mouth, throat, esophagus and
stomach. Moderately toxic. Acute oral LD50 2000 - 4000 mg/kg (rats)
Signs and Symptoms of Exposure: Burning and irritation in all areas of exposure.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Respiratory conditions.
EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If dusts have been inhaled, seek medical attention immediately.
Skin Contact: Wash with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical
attention immediately.
Eye Contact: Wash immediately with plenty of cool water, being sure to wash under the eye lid for at least 15
minutes. Seek immediate medical attention.
Ingestion: DO NOT induce vomiting. Dilute product by giving large quantities of water or milk. Call your
nearest poison control center for further action, and get immediate medical attention.

Section VII - Precautions for Safe Handling
Spills or Releases: Sweep up and salvage all that can be salvaged, being certain to wear protective clothing.
Neutralize any remaining spilled material with hydrogen peroxide 5%, sodium nitrate, sodium bisulfate or
sodium thiosulfate, and flush to sewer.
Waste Disposal Methods: Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
Clean Water Act Requirement: N/A
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Requirements: N/A
Precautions for Handling and Storage: Avoid skin contact. Keep opened containers sealed to avoid absorption
of moisture. Store in cool, dry area.

Ventilation Requirements: Recommended to keep dusts down.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Respiratory: Dust mask, if exposed to dusts.
Eyes: Chemical Goggles Gloves: Plastic of rubber-coated.
Other Clothing and Equipment: Safety boots and a rubber apron should be worn when handling this product.
