4. First aid measures
General:
Remove exposed person from the contaminated area immediately, if nescessary make lay him/her comfortable
and loosen tight clothing. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Cover up injured person, do not
allow to cool. If not breathing give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Wash contaminated
clothing before reuse. Call a physician!
After swallowing:
If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Antidote: vitamin K艃.
After inhalation:
Transfer to fresh air.
After eye contact:
In case of contact immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Assure adequate
flushing by separating the eyelids with fingers.
After skin contact:
In case of skin contact, immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water.

5. Fire fighting measures
Combustible. Use water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder, alcohol or polymer foam extinguisher. Emits
toxic fumes under fire conditions. Use water spray to cool containers under fire conditions. Use extinguishing
media appropriate to surrounding fire conditions.
6. Accidental release measures
Close and evacuate contaminated area. Do not allow contamination to get to drain. Only authorised person may
order the decontamination. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, rubber boots and heavy rubber gloves.
Absorb on sand or vermiculite and place in closed container for disposal. Ventilate area and wash spill site after
material pickup is complete.
7. Handling and storage
Keep containers out of use tightly closed. Store in labelled container in a cool, dry place.

Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not breathe dust. When working do not eat or smoke. Take care of
bathing facilities with warm water after work. Safety shower, eye bath, mechanical exhaust are required. Wash
thoroughly after handling.

11. Toxicological information
Acute toxicity:
Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin. Anticoagulant. Lowering of prothrombine level and internal
bleading can occur, clotting mechanism becomes abnormal. Material is extremly destructive to tissue of the
mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract, eyes and skin. Inhalation may result in spasm, inflammation and
edema of the larynx and bronchi, chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema. Symptoms of exposure may
include burning sensation, coughing, wheezing, laryngitis, shortness of breath, headache, nausea and vomiting.
