Steps to be Taken in
Case of Material Spill
or Release Small spills: Mop or wipe up and dispose in DOT approved
waste containers.
Large spills: Contain by diking with non-combustible absorbent
material. Neutralize with soda ash or lime and containerize.
Keep non-neutralized material out of sewers, storm drains,
surface water and soil. Wear protective gear and S.C.B.A. for
large spills.
Waste Disposal Method Dispose of contaminated material in accordance with all federal,
state, and local regulations.
Precautions In Handling
And Storage Keep containers tightly closed when not in use and in an upright
position. Store in a dry, well ventilated area away from
incompatible materials.
Other Precautions Empty containers can be dangerous due to residual product.
Obey hazard warnings when handling empty containers. Wash
thoroughly after handling.
