EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES
Eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if
present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Call a poison control center or doctor for
treatment advice.
Swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of
water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to by a poison control center or doctor.
Skin: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call
a poison control center or doctor for treatment.
Inhaled: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial
respiration, preferably mouth-to- mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for
further treatment advice
Note to physician: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage.

SECTION VII - EXPOSURE CONTROL PROCEDURES

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Wear appropriate NIOSH-approved respirator where workplace conditions warrant.
VENTILATION: Use adequate local exhaust ventilation.
EYE PROTECTION: Use OSHA approved safety goggles and full face shield.
SKIN PROTECTION: Do not get on skin or clothing. Wear coveralls and other suitable clothing to avoid skin contact.
OTHER PROTECTIVE CLOTHING OR EQUIPMENT: Wear appropriate chemically-resistant gloves; e.g., PVC or PE.
Replace these immediately if there is any tearing or degradation of gloves. Remove and clean gloves after use.
Then wash hands and any exposed skin areas with soap and water.
WORK/HYGIENE PRACTICES: Provide eyewash fountain and emergency shower.


SECTION VIII - SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Dike and absorb spills with inert material
(sand, clay). Collect into corrosion-proof drums. Decontaminate area with 10% sodium bisulfite solution or a solution
containing 5% Sodium Bisulfite and 5% Sodium Bicarbonate.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD: Dispose of in accordance with applicable federal and local regulations. Contact the
local regional office of the EPA for pesticide disposal information.

SECTION IX - PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND STORAGE

STORE IN A VENTILATED AREA AWAY FROM CHILDREN, FOOD AND DRINKING WATER.
AVOID ANY CONTACT WITH SKIN AND EYES.
KEEP CONTAINERS TIGHTLY CLOSED.
Protect from frost.
Protect from heat and direct sunlight
Protect against temperatures > 60潞 C

SECTION X - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: Product is toxic to fish and wildlife. Do not discharge effluent containing this product
into lakes, ponds, estuaries, oceans or other waters unless this product is specifically identified and addressed in an
NPDES permit. Do not discharge effluent containing this product into sewer systems without previously notifying the
local sewage treatment plant authority. For guidance, contact your State Water Board or Regional Office of the
Environmental Protection Agency.
Toxic effect on activated sludge organisms possible with concentrations above 6 ppm a.i.
Can affect the AOX-value of effluent water (calculated AOX = 0.26%)
