COMMENTS:
Our company is withholding the specific chemical identity under provision of the OSHA Hazard Communication
Rule Trade Secrets (1910.1200(1)). The specific chemical identity will be made available to health
professionals in accordance wit 29 CFR 1910.1200 (1) (2) (3) (4). This Material Safety Data Sheet provides
information for employee training and hazard identification. New Jersey Trade Secret Number: BL-5129-P.


3. Hazards Identification
Health Effects:
Material is stable and non-hazardous under normal conditions of use. In fire conditions, toxic vapors
of phosphorous oxides and carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide may be released. No significant
health effects anticipated.

Acute Effects:

Eyes: This product may be mildly irritating to eyes.
However, it is unlikely to cause any more than mild
transient discomfort. It is also unlikely to cause any
lasting effects.
Skin: Data suggests that this product should present no
significant problems.
If Swallowed: Data suggests that this product should present no
significant problems.
If Inhaled: Data suggests that this product should present no
significant problems. LD50 Oral (Rat) >5,000mg/kg

If poisoning occurs, contact a Doctor or Poison Control Center.
Eyes: If product gets in eyes, flush with plenty of water. Get medical attention if
irritation occurs and persists.
Skin: If product gets on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. Get medical
attention if irritation occurs and persists.
If Swallowed: If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Drink plenty of water. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If any discomfort persists,
obtain medical attention.
If Inhaled: Remove to fresh air. If breathing difficulty or discomfort occurs and
persists, obtain medical attention.


5. Fire Fighting Measures
Flash Point and Method: Does not burn.
Flammable Limits: Not applicable. This product does not burn.
Extinguishing Media: This product does not burn. Use extinguishing media
suited to the materials that are burning.
Fire/ Explosion Hazards: There is no risk of an explosion from this product under
normal circumstances if it is involved in a fire.
Fire Fighting Procedures: When fighting fires involving significant quantities of this
product, wear safety boots, non-flammable overalls,
gloves, hat and preferably, goggles.
Hazardous Decomposition Fire decomposition products from this product may form
Products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and phosphorous
oxides. Likely to decompose only after heating to dryness
followed by further strong heating.

6. Handling and Storage
HANDLING:
Avoid the generation of mists in occupied areas.

STORAGE:
Containers should be kept closed in order to minimize contamination. Keep from extreme heat and
open flames, and make sure that the product does not come into contact with substances listed
under "Materials to avoid" below.

Materials to avoid: bases, nitrites, sulfites.
No special transport requirements. This product has no UN classification.

7. Exposure Controls/ Personal Protection
Engineering Controls:
Under normal conditions of use, exposure should not be a significant concern. Use with general
room ventilation or local exhaust when airborne contamination is expected. Under unusual or
emergency conditions, the personal protective equipment indicated below is recommended.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Eyes and Face: Use chemical-type goggles or face shield.
Respiratory: Use MSHA/NIOSH approved dust/mist respiratory protection when
airborne mist is expected.
Protective Clothing: Use impervious gloves. Wear impervious apron and gauntlets when
splashing is expected during liquid transfers. Wear normal workshoes
except in conditions of spills where rubber overshoes
or boots would be required.
Spill or Leaks: Isolate area. Wear prescribed protective clothing and equipment.
Dike to confine spill. Absorb with an absorbent. Shovel waste into
an approved container. To decontaminate spill area, tools and
equipment, wash with water and add to drums of waste already
collected. Open dumping or burning of this material or its packaging
is prohibited. If spilled material cannot be disposed of by use
according to label instructions, an acceptable method of disposal is to
incinerate in accordance with local, state and national environmental
laws, rules, standards and regulations. However, because acceptable
methods of disposal may vary by location and regulatory
requirements may change, the appropriate agencies should be
contacted prior to disposal.
Whenever possible, our company encourages recycling of containers.

Always wash hands before smoking, eating or using the toilet. Wash contaminated clothing and
other protective equipment before storing or re-using.

ACUTE EFFECTS FROM OVEREXPOSURE: Product is non-irritating to the eyes and skin.
CHRONIC EFFECTS FROM OVEREXPOSURE: A 90-day toxicity study was conducted in rats with the
material administered daily by oral gavage at 0, 100, 500, and 2500 mg/kg/day. The no observed
effect level (NOEL) was 200 mg/kg/day, with changes in levels of phosphorus in blood and urine
being reported at 500 mg/kd/day. Bone damage and kidney degeneration which did not reverse
during recovery were reported at 2500 mg/kg/day. Product was not genotoxic in standard tests.
