Very toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.


4. FIRST AID MEASURES
General advice
Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely. Symptoms of poisoning may
not appear for several hours. Keep under medical supervision for at least 48 hours.
Inhalation
Move the patient to fresh air and keep at rest. In the event of symptoms obtain medical
treatment.

Skin contact
When in contact with the skin, clean with soap and water. If skin problems persist, seek medical
advice.
Eye contact
Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.
Ingestion
When swallowed accidentally, do not induce vomiting, get medical help. Ingest activated
charcoal. Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink.
Notes to physician
Symptoms
gastro-intestinal irritation.
Risks
Chronic exposure damages the central nervous system and the liver.
Treatment
In the event of a mouthful or more being ingested, the following measures should be
considered:
Gastric lavage with charcoal, if necessary further treatment.
Monitoring of liver and central nervous system


5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media
Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
Specific hazards during fire fighting
In the event of fire the following can be released:
nitrous gases (NOx)
carbon monoxide (CO)
hydrogen chloride (HCl)
Under certain conditions of combustion traces of other toxic substances cannot be excluded
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters
In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Wear full protective suit.
Further information
Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with
local regulations.

Wear personal protective equipment. Unprotected persons must be kept away.
Environmental precautions
Do not discharge into the drains/surface water/groundwater.
If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.
