Steps to Be Taken in Case Material Is Released or Spilled
Protective clothing must be worn by clean-up crew. Contain spillage
or leakage in suitable container or contain in a holding area. Do not allow drainage to sewers, streams or storm conduits.
Neutralize with weak acids. Recover with vacuum equipment such as septic tank truck.
Waste Disposal Method
Dispose of spillage waste in accordance with federal, state and
local regulations. Neutralized waste is composed of salt and water, humus matter.

Precautions to Be Taken in Handling and Storing
Contain in a diked area that has sufficient capacity to hold the
contents of the tank. This area should be free of potential contact with strong acids.
