3 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Harmful by inhalation and if swallowed.
Irritating to eyes and skin.
Limited evidence of a carcinogenic effect.
May cause sensitisation by skin contact.

4 FIRST AID MEASURES

Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Provide fresh air, warmth and rest, preferably
INHALATION:
in a comfortable upright sitting position. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR
INGESTION:
DRINK FLUIDS! Rinse mouth thoroughly. Promptly get affected personnel to drink large
volumes of water to dilute the swallowed chemical. Obtain medical advice Provide rest,
warmth and fresh air.
Remove affected person from source of contamination. Get medical attention promptly if

symptoms occur after washing.

Remove victim immediately from source of exposure.
EYES:
Make sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing. Promptly wash eyes
with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get

6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT ENVIRONMENT:
Avoid subsoil penetration. Prevent product from entering drains. Do not contaminate surface
water.
Wear necessary protective equipment.
SPILL CLEANUP METHODS:
ABSORB. Absorb with inert, damp, noncombustible material, then flush area with water.
Absorb small quantities with paper towels and evaporate in safe place (fume hood). Allow
sufficient time for vapours to completely clear the hood ducts, then burn the paper in a location
away from combustible materials.


7 HANDLING AND STORAGE

Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Ventilate well, avoid breathing vapours. Use approved
