2 COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS
Preparations manufactured from bitumen, mineral process oil, thermoplastic rubbers, woven
glass fibre membrane and chippings. None of the ingredients are classified as hazardous.
The adhesive binder is protected by silicone-coated release paper.
3 HAZARD IDENTIFICATION

4 FIRST AID MEASURES
INHALATION: First aid treatment for inhalation not likely to be necessary. Remove to fresh
air, if symptoms develop seek medical attention.
SKIN: Wash skin with soap and water as soon as possible. Seek medical advice if
symptoms persist.
EYES: Flush eyes with running water for several minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation
develops.
INGESTION: Seek medical advice.
5 FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Keep adjacent rolls cool by spraying with water. Extinguish fires using water fog, foam, dry
powder, carbon dioxide (CO2), sand or earth. Do not use water jet.
6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Re-roll material for possible further use or disposal.
7 HANDLING AND STORAGE
HANDLING:
Mechanical handling of palletised products reduces the hazards of manual lifting. Where
manual lifting is unavoidable use correct kinetic lifting techniques.
STORAGE:
Rolls are vertically packed on pallets and must be stored and conveyed in this position,
preferably under cover.
