Description
Feast Watson Decking Oil is a deep penetrating oil with mould and fungus resistant properties. Decking Oil is a matt oil finish,
available in a range of natural semi-transparent timber tones that will not hide the grain of the timber. Decking Oil will not crack or
peel.

Application Guide
Surface Preparation
New timber:
Clean the timber using Feast Watson Woodclean. Allow the timber to dry completely before applying Decking Oil.
Previously coated timber:
Thoroughly remove any previous coating by sanding, high pressure washing or stripping. Clean the surface of the timber with Feast
Watson Woodclean. Allow the timber to dry completely before applying Decking Oil.
Application Procedure and Equipment
Decking Oil should be stirred thoroughly before and during application. Apply one 'flood' coat of Decking Oil using a brush, Feast
Watson applicator, roller or spray. If applying by roller or spray, back brush the product into the timber. Allow to penetrate into the
timber for 30-60 minutes, then wipe off excess product with a dry applicator or cloth before the surface becomes tacky. Allow to dry
for a further 60 minutes. Apply a second coat as before, allow to penetrate for 30-60 minutes, and again wipe off excess with a dry
applicator or cloth before the surface becomes tacky. A third coat of Decking Oil may be applied after 1 hour if required, following
the same directions as before.

vapour/particulate cartridge.

Precautions and Limitations
Decking Oil does not require thinning. Do not apply product if temperature is below 10掳C or above 30掳C. Drying times are given at
25掳C and 50% relative humidity. Lower temperatures or higher humidity can lead to extended drying times.
