Description
Intergrain Dimension 4 is a timber stabilising pre-treatment, which prolongs the life of Intergrain DWD, UVC, Seamaster and other
compatible finishes. It protects timber from staining, sun, water and fungal damage during the construction period.

Uses
On all bare, clean, new or old, sawn or dressed timber cladding, weatherboards, window frames, joists, bearers, decking, pergolas,
log homes, structural timbers etc. Also used for back priming timber weatherboards and interior lining for wet areas.

Application Guide
Surface Preparation
All paints, stains or oils must be thoroughly removed back to bare timber. A combination of Intergrain Liquid 8 Paint Remover and
power washing, or sanding is recommended. Clean all timber with Intergrain Reviva Timber Cleaner closely following label
instructions. Ensure surface is clean and allow to dry thoroughly. In humid, tropical or mould susceptible areas new and cleaned
timbers should be treated with Intergrain TSS Timber Sterilising Solution. TSS should be left for 24 hours before applying
Dimension 4. Nail holes and surface defects should be filled with Intergrain Woodblend Wood Filler after applying Dimension 4.
Application Procedure and Equipment
Stir thoroughly before and during use. Do not thin. Apply either one saturating or two wet on wet coats by brush, applicator, spray
(HVLP or airless) or roller. (If applying by roller or spray, backbrush the product into the timber). Several applications may be
necessary to ensure full saturation on absorbent end grains or joinery.

Precautions and Limitations
Do not use at temperatures below 10掳C, or above 30掳C or when the temperature may reach either during the drying period. Do not
apply to hot surfaces or those in direct sunlight, as doing so will result in difficult application, poor penetration and performance. Do
not apply if rain or dew is expected within 4 hours of application. Do not use steel wool to clean timber or allow metal filings (eg:
from angle grinders) to contact timber as severe staining will occur.
