Description
DWD is a low sheen, transparent, water based exterior finish formulated to retain the natural appearance of timber. DWD is
designed to protect and beautify exterior timbers with a tough, weather resistant finish of superior durability for Australian
conditions.

Application Guide
Surface Preparation
All timbers must be washed with Intergrain Reviva and allowed to dry.
All bare timber must be primed with one or two heavy coats of Intergrain Dimension 4.
Application Procedure and Equipment
Apply 2 generous coats of DWD with a quality synthetic brush, pure bristle brush or pad applicator. DWD may be sprayed using an
airless or HVLP spray equipment. DO NOT APPLY BY ROLLER. When applied at the correct application rate the coating will have
an opaque appearance, which becomes transparent on drying. Note: The UV absorber system in DWD will impart a transparent
golden orange-brown tint to light timber. Do not brush out until transparent, over brush or apply thinly, as insufficient film thickness
will compromise performance and durability.

In humid, tropical or mould susceptible areas new and cleaned timber should be treated with Intergrain TSS Timber Sterilising
Solution.
Not recommended for reeded/grooved decks

Precautions and Limitations
Do not use at temperatures below 10掳C or above 30掳C, or when the temperature may reach these temperatures during the drying
period or if the relative humidity is higher than 85%. Do not apply if rain or dew is expected within 4 hours of application. Do not
apply to hot surfaces or in direct sunlight. Coverage will vary depending on the type of timber and whether it is dressed or rough-
sawn. Do not exceed stated coverage rates. Not recommended for reeded/grooved decks
