FEAST WATSON Liming Solution is a base for use with FEAST WATSON Prooftint stains, to produce soft, pastel tones.

Application Guide
Surface Preparation
All timber surfaces should be thoroughly clean, dry and free from wax, oil, grease and other contaminants. Wash with mineral
turpentine if needed to remove wax and grease, allow to dry, and lightly sand dressed surfaces with "00" paper or finer, always in
direction of the grain.
For interior surfaces, fill nail holes with FEAST WATSON Timber Fill putty - do not use a linseed oil putty.
Application Procedure and Equipment
Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad flat stirrer, to maintain a uniform colour and solution.
Apply an even coat to timber. Allow to dry for a 1-5 minutes, then wipe off excess. Allow to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before
applying a topcoat.

Notes
Feast Watson Liming solution may be tinted with up to 10% of Feast Watson's prooftint.

Precautions and Limitations
Do not apply product if temperature is below 10C or is likely to fall below 10C during the drying period..
Moisture content of timber should be close to equilibrium moisture content, usually 10-15%, but not exceeding 15%, for satisfactory
application.
