Liquid hand dishwashing detergents have a relatively low order of toxicity. They may be irritating, but they are not
expected to be corrosive. They are expected to be emetic.

All surfactants are readily biodegradable. These products are safe for septic tanks.
SECTION XIII - DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Waste Disposal Method: DISPOSAL IS TO BE PERFORMED IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE
AND LOCAL REGULATIONS. The product waste is not considered RCRA hazardous since it is an aqueous
solution (>50% water) that contains less than 24% by volume of alcohol.
Household Use: Household product is safe for disposal down the drain during use or in the trash.
Industrial Setting: Solutions of diluted detergent in the course of use, may be allowed to be flushed down sewer.
