disposal. Decontaminate tools and equipment following cleanup. Dispose of all cleanup materials properly.
Large Spills
Containment: Place dirt or clay berms or other barriers down gradient to prevent loss into sewers or waterways.
Cleanup: Pump any free liquid into an appropriate closed container. If recovery of the product is not possible, the product
may be absorbed with an inert material such as sand or vermiculite. Do not flush to drain. If spilled onto the ground, the
affected area should be removed to a depth of one or two inches and placed in an appropriate container for disposal. Dispose
of all cleanup materials properly. Prevent material from entering public sewers or any waterway.
Regulatory Requirements: Follow applicable OSHA regulations to protect workers during cleanup. See Section 15 for
additional regulatory requirements. Follow EPA regulations for disposal.

Section 7 - Handling and Storage
Handling Precautions: Do not get on skin or in eyes. Avoid breathing vapors and mists. Do not ingest. Follow LABEL
Instructions for safe use. See Section 8 for additional information.
Storage Requirements: Store in an area that is away from food, feedstuffs, fertilizers, and seed. Store in original containers in
an enclosed and/or diked area. Keep away from children, pets, and wildlife.
Regulatory Requirements: See Section 8 for employee exposure controls and Section 15 for other regulatory requirements.

Section 8 - Exposure Controls / Personal Protection
Engineering Controls:
Ventilation: Provide general or local exhaust ventilation systems, other engineering controls, or administrative controls shown
below to minimize employee exposures when use conditions warrant or a potential for excessive exposure exists.
Administrative Controls: See the product LABEL for detail exposure control information.
Respiratory Protection: Under normal conditions, in the absence of other airborne contaminants an air-purifying (half-
mask/full-face respirator with cartridge/canister approved for use against pesticides should provide protection. Under
conditions immediately dangerous to life or health, or emergency conditions with unknown concentrations, use a full-face
positive pressure air-supplied respirator or a self-contained breathing apparatus. When respirators are required, use a NIOSH-
approved respirator suitable for the actual or potential exposure conditions. Follow OSHA respirator regulations
(29 CFR 1910.134) for respirator selection and use. Select respirator based on its suitability to provide adequate worker
protection for given working conditions, level of airborne contamination, and presence of sufficient oxygen. Warning! Air-
purifying respirators do not protect workers in oxygen-deficient atmospheres. If respirators are required, OSHA requires a
written respiratory protection program.
Eye/Face Protection: Eye and face protection requirements will vary dependent upon work environment conditions and
material handling practices. Appropriate ANSI Z87 approved equipment should be selected. Wear protective splash proof
safety goggles, safety goggles, or safety glasses per OSHA eye- and face-protection regulations (29 CFR 1910.133). Face
contact should be prevented through use of full-face protection such as a face shield.
Protective Clothing/Equipment: Skin contact must be prevented through the use of permeation resistant clothing, gloves, and
footwear, selected with regard for use conditions and exposure potential. Consideration must be given to both durability as
well as permeation resistance.
Safety Stations: Make emergency eyewash stations and emergency showers available in the immediate work area.
