Containment Procedures
Remove sources of ignition. Shovel material into appropriate container for disposal in accordance with all local,
state and federal requirements. If sweeping of a contaminated area is necessary, use a dust suppressant agent.
Collect using suitable absorbent if needed. CAUTION- spilled material in contact with water creates very slippery
conditions.
Clean-Up Procedures
Wash down spill area with water to prevent slippery conditions. With permission, wash the wastewater to the
waste water treatment system. Use inert absorbent such as vermiculite to collect residual liquid. Dispose of
spilled material in accordance with applicable local, state and federal regulations.
Evacuation Procedures
Extreme slipping hazard. Isolate area. Keep unnecessary personnel away.

Handling Procedures

Precautions: Use proper personal protection equipment. Practice good personal procedures: Wash with soap
and water following any contact with this product, as well as before breaks and meals. Shower and change
clothing at the end of work shift. If clothing becomes contaminated, remove and launder or dry-clean before
reuse.

Avoid extremes of temperature; wet, damp and humid conditions.

Contains a cationic polyacrylamide. Cationic polyacrylamides are very toxic to aquatic organisms (LC50

the presence of 5 to 10 mg/l organic carbon as is found in most surface waters.
