Potential Effects of Exposure to thioglycerol by inhalation and ingestion may cause central nervous

muscle weakness, shortness of breathing, and sedation. In large amount, it
may cause respiratory depression, muscle paralysis, kidney and liver damages,
unconsciousness, coma, and possible death. Skin and eye contact may cause
inflammation of the skin and eyes. Thioglycerol may be absorbed through the skin.
