especially if sprayed into containers of hot burning liquid.

Health Hazards (Acute and Chronic): Eye contact: Based on testing of Meelium 60%
Concentrate, this product may be severly irritating to the eye. Prolonged contact may cause irreversible
eye damage. If in eyes, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting upper and
lower eyelids occasionally. Get immediate medical attention. Skin contact: Avoid skin contact. Based
on testing of Meelium 60% Concentrate, this product is a moderate skin irritant upon prolonged skin
contact. Wash any contaminated area immediately and thoroughly with soap and water. If irritation
develops, get medical attention. Ingestion: The Acute Oral LD50 of Meelium 60% Concentrate is
>19,000 mg/Kg. Relative to other substances, this product is of very low toxicity and a single dose is
unlikely to be fatal. The active ingredient in this product has laxative properties, and may cause
abdominal cramps and diarrhea. If ingested, do not induce vomiting, as vomiting may cause aspiration
pneumonia. Get medical attention immediately. Inhalation: The Inhalation LC50 of Meelium 60%
exceeds 200 mg/l. Breathing of mists may cause irritation of the respiratory tract. Mists of this product,
oil mists, are considered hazardous under the OSHA communication standard. The PEL and TLV for oil
mists is 5mg/M3. Exposures below this level appear to be without significant health risk. The STEL for
oil mists is 10 mg/M3. If inhaled, remove victim from exposure. Apply artificial respiration if victim is
unconscious. Get medical attention immediately.

Section VII: Precautions for Safe Handling and Use
Steps to be taken in case material is released or spilled: Notify appropriate authorities of spill.
Contain spill immediately. Co not allow spill to enter sewers or water courses. Remove all sources of
ignition. Absorb with appropriate inert material such as sand, clay, sawdust, etc. Large spills may be
picked up using vacuum pumps, shovels, buckets or other suitable means. Place contaminated materials
in drums or other suitable containers for disposal.
Waste disposal method: All waste disposal must comply with Federal, State and local regulations.
If regulated solvents are used for cleanup, the resulting waste mixture may be regulated. Waste material
may be landfilled or incinerated at an approved facility.
Precautions for handling and storage: Do not transfer to unmarked containers. Store in closed,
original containers. Keep away from heat or open flame.
Other precautions: Do not contaminate feed, foodstuffs or water supplies.

Section VIII: Control Measures
Respiratory protection: Respiratory protection is not required under conditions of normal use in
manufacturing of other products using this product as an ingredient. If vapors or mists are generated
when the material is heated or handled, use an organic vapor respirator with a dust and mist filter. Any
respirator must be NIOSH certified. Do not use compressed oxygen in hydrocarbon atmoshperes.
Ventilation: If vapor or mist is generated when this product is heated or handled, adequate ventilation
in accordance with good engineering practice must be provided to maintain concentrations below the
specified limits in Sction VI, above.
Protective Gloves: Use chemical resistant gloves such as viton庐 or barrier laminate.
Eye Protection: Wear full face shield or goggles to prevent eye contact.
Other protective clothing or equipment: Not required.
Work/Hygienic practices: Wash thoroughly after handling, and before eating or smoking. Wash
contaminated clothing before reuse.
