HEALTH HAZARDS (Acute and Chronic): ACUTE: Irritant, central nervous system depression, hypoglycemia and narcosis. May cause convulsions and cyanosis.
Exposure to 1,2,3,4,5,6 Hexachlorocyclohexane Gamma-Isomer may cause nausea, dizziness, and headache. CHRONIC: Dermatitis through defatting of skin.
1,2,3,4,5,6 Hexachlorocyclohexane Gamma-Isomer is highly toxic. It may cause heritable genetic damage and has cumulative effects.
COMPONENTS LISTED AS CARCINOGENS OR POTENTIAL CARCINOGENS: 1,2,3,4,5,6 Hexachlorocyclohexane Gamma-Isomer may cause cancer.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Eye, nose or throat irritation, skin dryness and erythema, headache, nausea and dizziness.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS GENERALLY AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Dermatitis.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES: EYES: Remove contact lenses if present. Hold eyelids open and irrigate with large volume of water for 15 min. Seek
medical treatment. SKIN: Immediately wash with soap and water. Continue rinsing with large volume of water for 15 min. INHALATION: If inhaled, remove to fresh air.
Restore and/or support breathing. Have trained person administer oxygen if needed. Seek medical treatment. INGESTION: Contact a Poison Control Center. Never
induce vomiting or give anything by mouth to a victim unconscious or having convulsions.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Wear personal protective equipment. Absorb small spills on paper, vermiculite, or other
absorbent. Collect and store in closed container for disposal.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD: Incinerate at an approved facility in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORAGE: Handle with the utmost care. Avoid all contact and inhalation. Store in an explosion proof refrigerator
at 4 C. Keep in a tightly closed container at all times.
