HEALTH HAZARDS (Acute and Chronic): ACUTE: Swallowing will lead to a caustic effect in the mouth throat and danger of perforation of the esophagus. May
produce caustic effect on the skin mucous membranes and the eyes. CHRONIC: Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause dermatitis. Repeated exposure may
cause erosion of the teeth. May cause conjunctivitis and photosensitization.
