POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS

EYE:
Exposure to hot material may cause thermal burns. Exposure to mists and
vapors may cause irritation.

SKIN:
Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause skin irritation. Exposure to
hot product may cause thermal burns.

INHALATION:
Avoid breathing vapors or mists. Inhaled mists or fumes may cause
irritation.

INGESTION:
Small amounts ( a tablespoonful) swallowed during normal handling
operations are not likely to cause injury; swallowing amounts larger than
that may cause injury. ingestion is not considered to be a likely source
of exposure.

Slippery, can cause falls if walked on.



4. FIRST AID MEASURES

EYE CONTACT FIRST AID:
Get immediate medical attention. Immediately flush eyes with plenty of
water.

SKIN CONTACT FIRST AID:
Immediately contact a physician for treatment of thermal burns. In case
of skin contact with product under other conditions, wash thoroughly with
soap and water. Removal of product from skin may be aided by use of
waterless hand cleaner.

INHALATION FIRST AID:
If overcome by fumes, immediately remove from exposure and call a
physician. If breathing is irregular or has stopped, start resuscitation,
administer oxygen, if available.

INGESTION FIRST AID:
If ingested, DO NOT induce vomiting; call a physician immediately if a
large amount has been ingested.

Material will burn in a fire.

FIRE FIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Avoid breathing smoke, fumes, and decomposition products. Use
supplied-air breathing equipment for enclosed or confined spaces or as
otherwise needed.

COMBUSTION PRODUCTS:
Fumes, smoke, carbon monoxide and other decomposition products in the case
of incomplete combustion.



6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

SAFEGUARDS (PERSONNEL):
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Eliminate all sources of
ignition - heat, sparks, flame, electricity, impact and friction.

LARGE SPILLS PROCEDURE:
This product may be classified as an oil under Section 311 of the Clean
Water Act, and under the Oil Pollution Act. Discharges or spills into or
leading to surface waters that cause a sheen must be reported to the
National Response Center (800-424-8802). Contain spill by drinking,
prevent product from entering sewers or waterways. Allow liquid to
solidify, then clean up and dispose of in compliance with local and
federal regulations.

SMALL SPILLS PROCEDURE:
Allow material to solidify and scrape up.



7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

HANDLING (PERSONNEL):
'Empty' containers retain product residue (liquid and/or vapor) and can be
dangerous. DO NOT PRESSURIZE, CUT, WELD, BRAZE, SOLDER, DRILL, GRIND, OR
EXPOSE SUCH CONTAINERS TO HEAT, FLAME, SPARKS, STATIC ELECTRICITY, OR
OTHER SOURCES OF IGNITION; THEY MAY EXPLODE AND CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.

STORAGE PRECAUTIONS:
Eliminate all sources of ignition - heat, sparks, flame, electricity,
impact and friction.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION

EYE / FACE PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS:
When splashing of the material may occur, chemical goggles and a face
shield are recommended.

SKIN PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS:
When handling hot material, use protective clothing impervious to this
material. Selection of specific items such as gloves, boots, apron or
full-body suit will depend on operation.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS:
Use supplied-air respiratory protection in confined or enclosed spaces, if
needed.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Minimize breathing hot fumes, vapors, and mist. Remove wax-impregnated
clothing and launder or dry-clean before re-use. Discard wax-impregnated
shoes. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION

EYE EFFECTS:
Product contacting the eyes may cause eye irritation.

SKIN EFFECTS:
Prolonged of repeated skin contact with this product tends to remove skin
oils, possibly leading to irritation and dermatitis; however, based on
human experience and available toxicological data, this product is judged
too be neither a 'corrosive' nor an 'irritant' by OSHA criteria.

ACUTE ORAL EFFECTS:
Product has a low order of acute oral and dermal toxicity, but minute
amounts aspirated into the lungs during ingestion or vomiting may cause
mild to severe pulmonary injury and possibly death.

ACUTE INHALATION EFFECTS:
This product is judged to have an acute LD50 (rabbit) greater than 3.16
g/kg of body weight.



12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS:
Do not discharge this product into public waters or waterways unless
authorized by a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)
permit issued by the EPA.
