INHALATION Avoid inhalation. Use in a well ventilated area.
SKIN CONTACT Avoid skin contact.
EYE CONTACT Avoid contact with eyes.
INGESTION Avoid ingestion.
GENERAL COMMENTS Possible risk of irreversible effects. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Carcinogen Category 3.
SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES
INHALATION Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Perform artificial respiration if breathing has stopped. When breathing is
difficult, properly trained personnel may assist affected person by administering 100% oxygen. Keep the affected person
warm and at rest. Get prompt medical attention.
SKIN CONTACT Remove affected person from source of contamination. Promptly wash contaminated skin with soap or mild detergent
and water. Promptly remove clothing if soaked through and wash as above.
EYE CONTACT Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get
medical attention.
INGESTION Immediately rinse mouth and provide fresh air. NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINK FLUIDS!
Get medical attention immediately.
SECTION 5: FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA Water spray, fog or mist. Foam. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry chemicals, sand, dolomite, etc.
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING If risk of water pollution occurs notify appropriate authorities. Containers in the vicinity of the fire to be kept cool.
PROCEDURES
UNUSUAL FIRE & May develop highly toxic or corrosive fumes if heated. May form explosive or toxic mixtures with air.
EXPLOSION HAZARDS
HAZARDOUS Fire creates: Carbon monoxide (CO). Chlorine. Phosgene (COC12). Hydrogen chloride (HCL).
COMBUSTION PRODUCTS
SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
STEPS TO BE TAKEN IF Provide ventilation and confine spill. Do not allow runoff to sewer.
PRODUCT IS RELEASED Clean-up personnel should use respiratory and/or liquid contact protection.
OR SPILT Absorb in vermiculite, dry sand or earth and place into containers.

SECTION 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE
USEAGE PRECAUTIONS Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Ventilate well, avoid breathing vapours. Use approved respirator if air contamination
is above accepted level. DO NOT SMOKE! Product decomposes to Phosgene (which is toxic) at high temperatures.
STORAGE PRECAUTIONS May attack some plastics, rubber and coatings, Keep in cool, dry ventilated storage and closed containers.
STORAGE CRITERIA Misc. hazardous material storage.
