IBDU - IBDU is a slow release nitrogen fertiliser. The maximum duration of release for IBDU
particles is about 5-6 months. IBDU contains 31% nitrogen and is available in 20kg bags IBDU is
a condensation product of urea and isobutyraldehyde. The nitrogen in IBDU is released by a
chemical hydrolysis reaction, and in contrast to UF nitrogen, the microbial degradation is minimal.
Particle size, hardness, and the amount of water passing through the media have the biggest
effect on the fertilizer release. Low pH increases hydrolysis, but temperature is not a critical
factor. Commercial IBDU fertilizers contain multiple particle sizes to achieve an even release rate.

Urea - Urea is the most concentrated solid nitrogen fertilizer available (46% N), and has
become the world's major source of nitrogen. Urea is available in 20kg bags Australian made
Urea fertilizer is mainly used for pre-plant application in grain crops, and for side or top-dressing
pasture and forage crops, grain cotton, vegetables and sugarcane. Urea is also used in tree and
vine crops. Best results are achieved when surface broadcast without incorporation, if applied
before rain or irrigating. Urea can also be applied in irrigation water, and as a foliar spray. This
fertilizer is not recommended for repeated foliar application on annual or perennial horticultural
crops.

Calcium Nitrate - Calcium Nitrate can be used for Fertigation to boost growth of
many crops such as; nursery stock, flowers, apples, lettuces, citrus, herbs, and grapes. Calcium
Nitrate is available in 25kg bags Calcium Nitrate is a major soluble hydroponic fertiliser and
must be part of any hydroponic mix when two concentrate solutions are used. Calcium Nitrate
from YARA is a white prill of the highest quality and has excellent solubility. Calcium Nitrate
contains 15.5% N in nitrate form and 19% water-soluble calcium. Since the highly soluble
nitrogen and the calcium are both immediately available to plants, this fertilizer can be used to
remedy plant deficiencies in calcium and ameliorate soil acidification.
