Hazard Identification


Liquid enzymes are dust free preparations. However, inappropriate handling may cause formation of dust, spray or aerosols. For
appropriate handling please see the sections Accidental Release Measures and Handling & Storage.

Inhalation: Repeated inhalation of enzyme dust, spray or aerosols may induce sensitisation and
may cause allergic type reactions in sensitized individuals.
Ingestion: May cause irritation of digestive tract.
Eye Contact: Dust, spray or aerosols may cause irritation.
Skin Contact: Prolonged skin contact may cause minor irritation.
First Aid Measures


Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If irritation persists or allergic reaction occurs, seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. If patient is conscious, give plenty of
water to drink. If patient feels unwell seek medical attention.
Eye Contact: Flush with water for a minimum of 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before re-
use. If irritation persists seek medical attention.

Fire extinguishing media: Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire.
Special fire fighting procedures: None.


Accidental Release Measures

Personal Precautions: Wear suitable personal protective clothing (see section 8).
Environmental Precautions: Avoid formation of aerosols.
Methods for Cleaning: Spilled preparation should be removed immediately to avoid formation of dust from dried
preparation. Use mechanical means to clean-up spillage, preferably with a vacuum cleaner
equipped with a high efficiency filter. Flush remainder carefully with plenty of water. Never
use a high-pressure water jet. Provide sufficient ventilation. Wash contaminated clothing.

Handling & Storage

Handling: Avoid formation of aerosols and dust from drying out of spilled preparation. Avoid splashing
and high pressure washing. Ensure good ventilation of the room when handling this prepara-
tion. Prevent contact with eyes or skin. Wear suitable protective clothing (see section 8).
Storage: Store in a cool dry place below 20 C. Do not freeze.
