product also contains aromatic hydrocarbons. Because of the risk of
hydrocarbon pneumonitis if even tiny amounts are aspirated into the
lung during emesis, consideration should be given to gastric lavage
with endotracheal tube in place. Treatment is symptomatic and sup-
portive. Animal and vegetable fats, milk, cream and alcohol may
increase absorption and should not be administered.
