    HIGHEST DOSE TESTED. DLA-HMIS: LISTED AS IARC GROUP 3
    (UNCLASSIFIABLE AS TO CARCINOGENICITY  TO HUMANS, VOL. 19, SUPPL 7,
    1987).
Effects of Overexposure:EYE CONTACT WITH ISOCYNATES MAY RESULT IN
    CONJUNCTIVAL IRRITATION & MILD CORNEAL OPACITY. SKIN: DERMATITIS.
    INHALATION: BREATHLESSNESS, CHEST DISCOMFORT, DIFFICULT BREATHING
    AND REDUCED PULMONARY FUNC TION. AIRBORNE OVEREXPOSURE WELL ABOVE
    THE PEL MAY RESULT ADDITIONALLY IN EYE IRRITATION, HEADACHE,
    CHEMICAL BRONCHITIS, ASTHMA-LIKE FINDINGS OR PULMONARY EDEMA,
    FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS. INGESTION: NAUSEA,  VOMITING, ABDOMINAL PAIN.
Medical Cond Aggravated by Exposure:INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE SENSITIZED TO
    ISOCYANATES AND THOSE WITH PREEXISTING LUNG DISEASES OR CONDITIONS,
    INCLUDING NON-SPECIFIC BRONCHIAL HYPERREACTIVITY OR ASTHMA, MUST
    AVOID ALL EXPOSURE TO ISOCYNATES.

=======================  First Aid Measures  =======================

First Aid:SKIN: WASH AFFECTED AREAS WITH SOAP AND WATER. REMOVE AND
    LAUNDER CONTAMINATED CLOTHING BEFORE REUSE. GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL
    ATTENTION. EYES: IMMEDIATELY RINSE EYES WITH RUNNING WATER FOR 15
    MINUTES. G ET IMMEDIOATE MEDICAL ATTENTION. INGESTION: IF
    SWALLOWED, DILUTE WITH WATER. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. NEVER GIVE
    FLUIDS OR INDUCE VOMITING IF THE VICTIM IS UNCOUNSCIOUS OR HAVING
    CONVULSIONS. GET IMMED IATE MEDICAL ATTENTION. INHALATION: MOVE TO
    FRESH AIR. AID IN BREATHING, IF NECESSARY, AND GET IMMEDIATE
    MEDICAL ATTENTION.

Unusual Fire/Explosion Hazard:AVOID WATER CONTAMINATION IN CLOSED
    CONTAINERS OR CONFINED AREAS (CO2 EVOLVED).

Spill Release Procedures:ABSORB THE ISOCYANANATE WITH AN ACCEPTABLE
    ABSORBENT. SEE 40 CFR SECTIONS 260, 264, AND 265 FOR FURTHER
    INFORMATION. SHOVEL INTO OPEN TOP CONTAINERS. DO NOT MAKE PRESSURE
    TIGHT. TRANSPORT TO A WELL VE NTILATED AREA (OUTSIDE) AND TREAT
    WITH NEUTRALIZING SOLUTION CONSISTING OF A MIXTURE OF 90% WATER,
    3-8% AMONIA AND 2-7% DETERGENT. ADD ABOUT 10 PARTS NEUTRALIZER PER
    PART ISOCYANATE. LET SIT 48 HRS.
Neutralizing Agent:NEUTRALIZING SOLUTION CONSISTING OF A MIXTURE OF 90%
    WATER, 3-8% AMONIA AND 2-7% DETERGENT.

Handling and Storage Precautions:KEEP CONTAINERS CLOSED AND STORE IN A
    WELL-VENTILATED AREA AT 60-80 DEG. F. OUTAGE OF CONTAINER SHOULD BE
    FILLED WITH DRY INERT GAS AT ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE TO AVOID REACTION
    WITH MOISTURE. CONTAMINATI ON BY MOISTURE OR BASIC COMPOUNDS CAN
    CAUSE DANGEROUS PRESSURE BUILDUP IN CLOSED CONTAINERS.
Other Precautions:IF BULGING DRUM OCURS, TRANSFER TO WELL VENTILATED
    AREA, PUNCTURE TO RELIEVE PRESSURE, OPEN VENT AND LET STAND FOR 48
    HOURS BEFORE RESEALING.
