DIRECTIONS FOR USE IN RICE鈥?
DDA (Direct Dry Application) by aerial application using fixed wing aircraft only

TIMING AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
Early Post-Seeding Applications to Submerged Weeds:

鈥? Apply Shark H20 DDA by air at the early post-seeding timing to water-seeded rice.
鈥? Do not dilute Shark H20 with a liquid carrier, surfactant or crop oil.
鈥? Apply Shark H2O herbicide at 8 ounces of product per acre (0.2 pounds active ingredient/acre).
鈥? Rice must be at the 2 to 4 leaf stage, well rooted and vigorously growing at the time of application. Earlier
applications may cause unacceptable crop response.
鈥? The flood water must be 3 to 6 inches deep. Keep the flood water static for at least five days after
鈥? application of Shark H2O herbicide.
鈥? Apply Shark H2O Herbicide to labeled weeds at the 2-leaf stage or less.
鈥? All applications must be made using a FMC approved Shark H2O Herbicide DDA metering unit; all
equipment must be approved by FMC prior to applying Shark H2O Herbicide. Apply in an even swath width
to insure even distribution over the entire surface area of the flood water, and to avoid overlaps.
The recommended swath width is 50 feet, do not exceed 60 feet. Do not apply at a release height
greater than 20 feet above the flood water.
鈥? Applicators must attend FMC Stewardship Training, follow the loading, application and equipment
calibration instructions provided by FMC Corporation.
鈥? To control weeds not listed on this label, Shark H2O Herbicide may be used in-sequence with other
herbicides registered for use on rice. Refer to the other product鈥檚 label for restrictions on in-
sequence-use, and observe all label precautions, instructions, and rotational cropping restrictions.

PRECAUTIONS
鈥? Crop injury and stand loss can result when applying Shark H20 herbicide to:
1. Rice that is poorly rooted or not vigorously growing.
2. Rice with less than two full leaves.
3. Rice showing symptoms of stress from prior herbicide application(s).
4. Rice that is stressed from cold water (especially near inlets) or unseasonably cool weather.
5. If water does not remain static for five days immediately after application.

鈥? Occasionally, treated rice may suffer temporary necrosis and/or stunting after Shark H20 is applied.
These symptoms can intensify in cold water such as water inlets.

鈥? Shark H20 performance for label weeds can be reduced by:
1. Applying Shark H20 to weeds that have more than two leaves.
2. Weeds that emerge after application.
3. When water depth is less than 3 inches.
4. Cold water and/or movement of water especially near field inlets.
5. Water that is not static for 5 days immediately after application.

RESTRICTIONS
鈥? Applications must be made by a Certified Applicator.
鈥? Do not apply this product using Air Boats.
鈥? Do not apply when conditions favoring drift exist.
鈥? Do not apply when wind speed is greater than 10 mph. Do not apply during a temperature inversion.
鈥? Users of Shark H2O Herbicide must hold the water on the rice fields for 30 days.
鈥? Do not apply within 200 feet of sensitive crops: All broadleaf crops, tree fruits, nuts and vine crops.
鈥? If heavy dew is present, it is recommended to delay application until some sensitive plants are dry.
鈥? Do not apply more than 12 ounces of product per season, including any combination use of this label
and the section 3 label.
鈥? Do not overlap application due to potential for crop phytotoxicity.
鈥? Do not apply within 60 days of harvest.
鈥? Observe the restricted entry interval of 12 hours.

ALL APPLICABLE DIRECTIONS, RESTRICTIONS, WORKER PROTECTION STANDARD REQUIREMENTS AND
PRECAUTIONS ON THE EPA REGISTERED SHARK H2O HERBICIDE LABEL AND THE SPECIAL LOCAL NEEDS
LABEL MUST BE FOLLOWED. THIS LABELING MUST BE IN THE POSSESSION OF THE USER AT THE TIME OF
PESTICIDE APPLICATION.
