3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
THIS MIXTURE HAS NOT BEEN TESTED AS A WHOLE.
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS:
EYE CONTACT: Direct exposure to large amounts may cause eye irritation, but no permanent eye injury is expected.
SKIN CONTACT: May cause skin irritation upon prolonged and excessive contact. However, no skin irritation is expected with
normal, daily use.
INGESTION: May be harmful if swallowed in large quantities.
INHALATION: Overexposure to dust may cause respiratory tract irritation.
CHRONIC: This product contains a small amount of crystalline silica, a naturally occurring impurity in calcium carbonate. NTP
has listed crystalline silica as a known human carcinogen based on increased lung cancer rates in workers
exposed to respirable-size (breathable) crystalline silica, primarily quartz and crystabolite, that are generated
during sandblasting or similar activities in an occupational setting. IARC has determined that crystalline silica
inhaled in the form of quartz or crystabolite from occupational sources is carcinogenic to humans. However, under
normal conditions of product use, no significant health risk to humans is expected.
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYE CONTACT: Flush eye with large amounts of water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
SKIN CONTACT: Flush area with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
INGESTION: Drink 2-4 ounces of a clear liquid. Get medical attention.
INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. Get medical attention if symptoms persist.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Use dustless methods (vacuum) to remove spills and place in disposal container. Do not dry sweep. Face masks and protective suits
must be worn in situations where dust cannot be controlled. Wetting processes to control dusts must be used wherever feasible.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container sealed to avoid absorption of moisture from air and possible loss of bleaching function.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
GENERAL CONTROLS: Avoid eye contact. Avoid dust inhalation.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: Under normal conditions of use, no special precautions or control measures are required. In
processing and packaging operations, the use of safety goggles and rubber gloves is recommended.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
