3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION:
Not classified as hazardous in normal conditions of handling and use.
4. FIRST-AID MEASURES:
INHALATION: Mild irritation of breathing passages.
TREATMENT: Remove from exposure. Rest and keep warm. In severe cases or if
recovery is not rapid or complete, seek medical attention.
EYE CONTACT: Mild irritation.
TREATMENT: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 mins. Contact a doctor
if symptoms persist.
SKIN CONTACT: Mild mechanical irritation.
TREATMENT: Remove contaminated clothing, rinse skin with plenty of water.
INGESTION: Gastrointestinal irritation.
TREATMENT: Wash out mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. If patient is
conscious give plenty of water to drink to dilute stomach contents. If
patient feels unwell seek medical attention.
IMMEDIATE TREATMENT/ANTIDOTE: Symptomatic treatment.

SPECIAL MEASURES: Avoid inhalation of hazardous fumes. Use NIOSH approved and full

7. HANDLING & STORAGE.
PRECAUTIONS IN HANDLING: Ensure good general ventilation. Avoid inhaling dusts. Avoid contact
with eyes, skin and clothing. Eye wash facilities should be readily
available. Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store in cool, dry and well ventilated conditions, away from sources of
heat or ignition. Avoid storing sacks in stacks to prevent product from
caking.
SUITABLE CONTAINERS: Store in original containers. Do not store in aluminium, it鈥檚 alloys, or
iron containers.

MATERIALS TO AVOID: In an aqueous dilution mixed with carbonates it produces abundant
foam with a release of carbonic anhydride (CO2), which may be
accrued in pits and depressed areas giving rise to a lack of air for
people or animals. In an aqueous dissolution mixed with alkalises, may
cause increases in temperatures.
