Signs and Symptoms of Exposure - Redness, tearing and burning in eyes. Redness drying and cracking skin. Swallowing, overexposure to
vapors or skin absorption may cause drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, loss of coordination. Inhalation of excessive amounts of vapors may irritate
nose, throat and upper respiratory tract. Follow good chemical hygiene practices to avoid these hazards.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure -
Pre-existing skin, lung, kidney, liver and blood conditions could be aggravated by overexposure and misuse.
Emergency and First Aid Procedures: Eyes - Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes lifting eyelids to insure complete removal. See
a physician immediately. Ingestion - Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Aspiration hazard. Inhalation - Get to fresh air. If
breathing has stopped, qualified personnel should administer artificial respiration. Skin - Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If
irritation arises and persists, call a physician.
SECTION VII - Precautions for Safe Handling and Use
Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled -
Caution, slip hazard. Allow material to dry before foot traffic is allowed on wetted area. For large spills, isolate and ventilate area. Eliminate all
ignition sources. Wear protective gear as necessary. Dike to prevent spread if free liquid is created. Pick up with a vacuum or an absorbent
material or allow to air dry. Put in a suitable container for proper disposal.
Waste Disposal Method -
Consult local, state, and federal regulations. Triple rinse empty container then offer for recycling, reuse, or reconditioning.
Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storing -
Do not use around ignition sources such as heat, sparks, flame, static electricity, welding arcs, etc. Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. Wash
thoroughly after handling. Do not swallow. Do not smoke while using. Avoid inhaling vapors. Use with adequate ventilation. Store in a cool
dry location away from heat, sparks, open flame, etc.
Other Precautions - Follow label directions carefully. Keep out of reach of children. Keep container tightly sealed when not in use. Do not
contaminate water, food or feed by use or storage. Do not deliberately concentrate and inhale vapors.
