Inhalation...................鈥︹?︹?︹??.鈥?...... Vapors are corrosive and irritating to the respiratory tract. Inhalation of mist
may burn the mucous membrane of the nose and throat.
Skin Contact / Absorption鈥︹??.鈥?..... Corrosive. Symptoms include redness, pain, and severe burns can occur.
Eye Contact................鈥︹?︹?︹??.鈥?..... Vapors are very corrosive and irritating to the eyes. Symptoms include
pain, redness and blurred vision. Splashes into eyes can cause permanent
tissue damage.
Ingestion.....................鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??.. Corrosive to the mouth, throat and stomach. Large doses can cause
abdominal pain, vomitting, diarrhea and tissue damage.
Exposure Limits鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??.... OSHA-ACGIH/TWA= 1mg/m3
Section 04 - First Aid Measures
Inhalation....................鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??... Remove victim to fresh air. Give artificial respiration only if breathing has
stopped. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek immediate medical
attention.
Skin Contact / Absorption鈥︹?︹?︹??... Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with soap and water.
Seek medical attention if irritation occurs or persists.
Eye Contact..................鈥︹?︹?︹?︹??..... Flush immediately with water for at least 20 minutes. Forcibly hold eyelids
apart to ensure complete irrigation of eye tissue. Seek immediate medical
attention.
Ingestion......................鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??.. Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, lean victim forward to prevent
breathing in vomit. Give plenty of water to dilute if conscious. Do not give
anything by mouth to a convulsing or unconscious person. Seek
immediate medical attention.
Additional Information.....鈥︹?︹?︹??.... Not available
Section 05 - Fire Fighting
Conditions of Flammability鈥︹?︹??..... Not combustible, however product is a strong oxidizer and its heat of
reaction with reducing agents or combustibles may cause ignition.
Product will increase the flammability of combustible, organic and readily
oxidizable materials.
Means of Extinction........鈥︹?︹?︹??...... Water spray may be used to extinguish surrounding fire and cool exposed
containers. Water spray will also reduce fume and irritant gases.

Flash Point....鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??... Not available
Auto-ignition Temperature鈥︹?︹?︹??.. Not available
Upper Flammable Limit 鈥︹?︹?︹?︹??... Not available
Lower Flammable Limit...鈥︹?︹??.鈥?.... Not available
Hazardous Combustible Products.... Product is noncombustible. When product decomposes, H2O2 releases
oxygen which may intensify fire.
Special Fire Fighting Procedures...... Wear NIOSH-approved self-contained breathing apparatus and protective
clothing.
Explosion Hazards鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??..... Contact with oxidizable materials may cause extremely violent
combustion. Drying of concentrated hydrogen peroxide on clothing and/or
other combustible materials may cause fire or explosion. Sealed
containers may rupture when heated.
Section 06 - Accidental Release Measures
Leak / Spill................鈥?.鈥︹?︹?︹?︹??.... Wear appropriate personal protective equipment if required. Ventilate area.
Stop or reduce leak if safe to do so. Prevent material from entering
sewers. Contain and recover liquid when possible. Do not return spilled
material to original container. Dilute with large amount of water and hold in
a pond or diked system until the peroxide decomposes then discharge into
suitable treatment system. Flush cleaned up area with water to remove
any residue. Empty containers should be rinsed with water.
Deactivating Materials...鈥︹?︹??.鈥?.... May be neutralized with sodium metabisulfite or sodium sulphite after
diluting to 5-10% hydorgen peroxide.
Section 07 - Handling and Storage
Handling Procedures.......鈥︹?︹?︹??.... Use proper equipment for lifting and transporting all containers. Use
sensible industrial hygiene and housekeeping practices. Wash thoroughly
after handling. Avoid all situations that could lead to harmful exposure.
Product #FLC* Page 4 of 8
Storage Requirements......鈥︹??...鈥?... Store in a cool (< 35C), well-ventilated dark area separated from
combustible substances, reducing agents, strong bases, organics. Do not
store on wooden shelves or floors. Suggest rotation of stock. Containers
must be vented, but check periodically for bulging containers that can burst
from pressure. Protect containers from physical damage, contamination,
heat and incompatibles. Contamination from any source (dust, metals) may
cause rapid decomposition with generation of large quantities of oxygen
gas and high pressures. Rinse empty containers thoroughly with clean
water. Glass, polyethylene, stainless steel and aluminum are
recommended materials for storage containers. Containers of this material
may be hazardous when empty since they retain product residues (vapors,
liquid); observe all warnings and precautions listed for the product.
Section 08 - Personal Protection and Exposure Controls
Protective Equipment
Eyes.鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??.鈥︹?︹??..... Chemical goggles, full-face shield, or a full-face respirator is to be worn at
all times when product is handled. Contact lenses should not be worn;
they may contribute to severe eye injury.
Respiratory鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??...... A filter dust, fume and/or mist filter cartridge is recommended. If ppm
exceeds 10, do not use oxidizable sorbants.
Gloves鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??...... Impervious gloves of chemically resistant material (rubber, butyl rubber,
neoprene or PVC) should be worn at all times. Wash contaminated
clothing and dry thoroughly before reuse.
Clothing鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??..鈥︹??..... Body suits, aprons, and/or coveralls of chemical resistant material should
be worn at all times. Wash contaminated clothing and dry thoroughly
before reuse.
Footwear鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??...... Impervious boots of chemically resistant material should be worn at all
times.
Engineering Controls
Ventilation Requirements鈥︹?︹??....... Mechanical ventilation (dilution or local exhaust), process or personnel
enclosure and control of process conditions should be provided. Supply
sufficient replacement air to make up for air removed by exhaust systems.
Other鈥︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹?︹??..... Keep an eye wash fountain and safety shower available and in close
proximity to work area.
