 Nuisance dust
 (total dust) (respirable)
The nature of the product suggests these limits are unlikely to be reached under
 normal use.
Engineering Controls Ensure ventilation is adequate and that air concentrations are controlled below quoted
Exposure Standards. Avoid generating and inhaling dusts. Keep containers closed
 when not in use.
 Personal Protection Precautionary Measures:
Eye Protection: Protective eye wear is normally not required when handling this
product but is suggested to avoid eye contact.
Skin Protection: Although this material does not present a significant skin concern,
minimise skin contamination by following good industrial practice. Wash hands and
contaminated skin thoroughly after handling. Wear gloves if in regular contact.
Respiratory Protection: Respiratory protection should not be required for normal
use/handling. Avoid breathing dust. If airborne dust levels are high, a dust mask is
recommended to avoid inhalation. The respirator use limitations specified by the
manufacturer must be observed. Respirators must be in compliance with AS/NZS

Fire/Explosion Hazard Stability: This product is stable under normal conditions.
 Hazardous polymerisation: Will not occur.
Conditions to avoid: Extreme heat. Contact with strong alkalis, oxidisers and
reducing agents. Contact with fuels and other organic or combustible materials.
Active metals such as aluminium and magnesium. Strong reducing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: In a fire, thermal decomposition of urea and
methylene urea will generate ammonia. Oxides of nitrogen, phosphorous, sulphur,
potassium and carbon are also possible.
Chemical incompatabilities: Strong alkalies and reducing agents. Active metals
such as aluminium and magnesium. Ammonia and organic materials.
Unusual fire, explosion and reactivity hazards: This product is comprised of
materials which are oxidisers of materials in their pure, unmixed forms. It will not
burn but can provide oxygen for existing fires and cause combustible materials to
 ignite explosively.
In case of fires: Do not breathe fumes. Cool exposed containers with waterspray.
 Use self-contained air supply.
