**** SECTION 3 - HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION ****

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Harmful by inhalation and in contact with skin. Toxic if swallowed.
Irritating to eyes and skin. May cause sensitization by skin
contact. May cause cancer. May cause heritable genetic damage. Toxic
: danger of serious damage to health by prolonged exposure through
inhalation, contact with skin and if swallowed. Possible risk of
impaired fertility.Cancer suspect agent.Light sensitive.Air
sensitive.

Potential Health Effects
Eye:
Causes eye irritation.
Skin:
May be absorbed through the skin in harmful amounts. May cause skin
sensitization, an allergic reaction, which becomes evident upon
re-exposure to this material. If absorbed, causes symptoms similar
to those of ingestion. Contact with the skin will cause peeling of
the skin of the fingertips.
Ingestion:
Harmful if swallowed. Causes gastrointestinal irritation with
nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. May cause liver damage. Can cause
nervous system damage. May cause pain, weakness and numbness with
possible muscle paralysis.
Inhalation:
Causes respiratory tract irritation. May cause effects similar to
those described for ingestion. Absorption by any route of exposure,
including inhalation, may lead to nervous system disturbances.
Chronic:
Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause adverse reproductive
effects. May cause cancer according to animal studies.

**** SECTION 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES ****

Eyes:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes,
occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid
immediately.
Skin:
Get medical aid immediately. Immediately flush skin with plenty of
water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing
and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse.
Ingestion:
If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical
aid immediately.
Inhalation:
Get medical aid immediately. Remove from exposure and move to fresh
air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If
breathing is difficult, give oxygen.

**** SECTION 5 - FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES ****

General Information:
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in
pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full
protective gear. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases
may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion. Dust can be
an explosion hazard when exposed to heat or flame.
Extinguishing Media:
For small fires, use dry chemical, carbon dioxide, water spray or
alcohol-resistant foam. Use water spray to cool fire-exposed
containers.

**** SECTION 6 - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES ****

General Information: Use proper personal protective equipment as indicated
in Section 8.
Spills/Leaks:
Vacuum or sweep up material and place into a suitable disposal
container. Clean up spills immediately, observing precautions in the
Protective Equipment section. Avoid generating dusty conditions.
Remove all sources of ignition.

Handling:
Wash thoroughly after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and
wash before reuse. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Keep
away from heat, sparks and flame. Do not ingest or inhale. Use only
in a chemical fume hood.
Storage:
Keep away from heat, sparks, and flame. Keep from contact with
oxidizing materials. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away
from incompatible substances. Keep away from acids. Keep away from
reducing agents. Keep away from strong bases.
