OSH Works Management Service

Taking Your Health and Safety Programs to the Next Level!
Dealing with the health and safety challenges facing your organization can be complex and time-consuming.
An occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) provides a framework for handling key activities so
that everyone knows the right way to do things - and all the right things get done. This system can directly support
development and continuous improvement of your health and safety programmes.

OSH Works from CCOHS鈥攊s a web-based tool and knowledge base that will help Canadian enterprises better
manage and continuously improve the health and safety of their employees. You may already have a health and safety
programme but are ready to move toward a health and safety management system. OSH Works鈥? functionality is based
on the Canadian OHSMS Standard, CSA Z1000. OSH Works is also compatible with other OHSMS Standards such as
OHSAS 18001.

An OHSMS engages all employees, getting them more involved in fostering a safety culture within the workplace.

An OHSMS consolidates everything health and safety-related in one area, making it easy for everyone in
the organization to access policies, procedures, legislation, audits, tools, checklists, training and more.

An OHSMS shows due diligence. Employers have legal responsibilities to provide a safe workplace and system
of work, to consult with employees and to keep them informed about health and safety matters.

OSH Works helps organizations and the people who are trying
to achieve exceptional health and safety performance:
鈥? Managers or supervisors responsible
for assigning tasks and training
can assign these to individual
staff, departments and groups
such as Health and Safety
Committees.
鈥? Employees that have tasks and
training assigned to them鈥?
including training to be
completed, legislation and other
related information.

Take workplace health and safety programs to the next
level with this dynamic, web-based management system.

OSH Works is entirely customizable
