Section 5: Stability and Reactivity
Stability: Stable

Section 6: Hazards Identification
Eyes: Causes eye burns. May cause blindness.
Skin: Harmful in contact with skin. May cause skin burns. Symptoms of overexposure may be
headache, dizziness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting.
Inhalation: Inhalation of aerosol may cause irritation to the upper respiratory tract. Can cause sever
respiratory tract burns.
Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed. If ingested, may cause sever burns to the mouth and throat, as well
as danger of perforation of the esophagus and the stomach.
Section 7: First Aid Measures
Eyes: Flush at once with potable water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothes immediately. Wash with soap and warm water for at least
15 minutes. Cover wound with sterile dressing.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Administer oxygen if breathing is difficult.
Ingestion: Prevent aspiration of vomit. Turn victims head to the side. Seek immediate medical
assistance.

Dispose of material in a waste disposal site in accordance with local, state, and federal law.
Section 10: Handling and Storage
Precautions to Store in a cool, dry place. Seal all partially used containers. Wash with soap and water

Toxicology-Volume 1 Chapter 17 and Volume 3 Chapter 3 for details
Protective Gloves: Impervious gloves- neoprene or rubber.
Eye Protection: Splash goggles or glasses with side shields. Do not wear contact lenses when
using this product.
Other Protective Wear body covering clothing and other coverings as necessary such as an apron
Clothing or and appropriate footwear to avoid contact with the material.
