HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
HEALTH EFFECTS:
Acute:
Swallowed: Harmful if swallowed. Swallowing can result in nausea and
vomiting.
Skin: May cause skin sensitisation. Repeated exposure to the skin can
cause hardening and cracking.
Eyes: Mild eye irritant.
Inhaled: Irritates the respiratory tract, effects are mainly transitory and
reversible.
Chronic:
Repeated or prolonged skin contact may lead to irritant contact
dermatitis.
FIRST AID:
Swallowed: Immediately rinse mouth with water. If more than 15 minutes from a
hospital induce vomiting using fingers in the throat or Ipecac
Syrup APF. Seek medical assistance.
Skin: Wash contaminated skin with plenty of water. Remove
contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. If irritation occurs
seek medical advice
Eyes: Rinse affected eye/s thoroughly with warm gently running water,
holding apart the upper & lower eyelid/s occasionally, for at least
20 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.
ADVICE TO DOCTOR: Treat symptomatically.

Personal Protection: Avoid contact with the skin and eyes, and avoid
breathing vapours and mists. When exposure is
likely, personal protective equipment in a
