DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
APPLICATION DIRECTIONS: For turf grass of approximately 2.5 cm (1鈥?) in height, apply 13 L/ha of
undiluted Avigon 14.5 (see dilution directions). Spray evenly on area to be protected to provide thorough
coverage and allow material to dry before permitting human activity on the treated areas. Do not mow treated
area for as long as possible after treatment. Repeat after 3 days if warranted by Canada goose activity.
DILUTION DIRECTIONS: Make sure spray equipment is clean before mixing. Shake or stir Avigon 14.5
container well prior to diluting. Mix Avigon 14.5 with water at a ratio of 1 part product to 19 parts water. For
example, mix 1 litre of product with 19 litres of water to make 20 litres of spray mixture. Mix product outside or
in a ventilated area.
USE RESTRICTIONS: This product may be used to repel Canada geese from golf courses and municipal
parks. Do not apply to residential lawns or recreational areas of parks. This product must be applied using
appropriate spray equipment, such as a pump sprayer or a power-blast sprayer. Do not apply when grass is wet
or rain is expected or below freezing. Avoid direct exposure of honey bees to this product. Do not apply this
product in the vicinity of hives.
PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after
handling. For terrestrial uses; do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to
intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment, wash
water or rinsate. When handling, wear safety glasses, and dust/mist filtering respirator (MSHA/NIOSH approval
number prefix TC-21C).
STORAGE: Store only in original container, in a dry place inaccessible to children, pets and domestic animals.
Store apart from pesticides, fertilizers, food or feed that may cause cross-contamination from odour. Keep
container closed when not in use. Store above 0 Celsius 鈥? Do not freeze.
FIRST AID:
IF IN THE EYES: Hold eyelids open and flush with a steady stream of water for 15 minutes. Contact a poison
control center or physician.
IF ON THE SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Contact a poison control center or physician
IMMEDIATELY.
IF INHALED: Remove to fresh air. Contact a poison control center or physician.
IF INGESTED: Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water and induce vomiting. Do not induce vomiting or give anything
by mouth to an unconscious person. Contact a poison control center or physician.
Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking
medical attention.
TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: There is no specific antidote for this product. Apply symptomatic
therapy.
DISPOSAL:
1) Triple- or pressure-rinse the emptied container. Add the rinsing to the spray mixture in the tank.
2) Follow provincial instructions for any required additional cleaning of the container prior to its disposal.
3) Make the empty container unsuitable for further use.
4) Dispose of the container in accordance with provincial requirements.
5) For information on the disposal of unused, unwanted product, contact the manufacturer or provincial
regulatory agency. Contact the manufacturer and the provincial regulatory agency in case of a spill, and
for clean-up of spills.
NOTICE TO USER: This control product is to be used only in accordance with the directions on this label. It
is an offense under the Pest Control Product Act to use a control product under unsafe conditions.
