Section 3. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Inhalation: Not expected to be a problem under normal conditions of use.
Prolonged or excessive exposures may result in respiratory irritation, headache and nausea. In extreme cases may cause CNS depression
leading to dizziness and narcosis.
Skin & Eye Contact: Intermittent, brief skin contact may result in mild irritation. Prolonged contact with skin may cause moderate to severe
irritation resulting in rashes and dermatitis. Contact with eyes will cause moderate to severe irritation, and may produce moderate but
reversible eye injury.
The solvents are defatting agents and contain low concentrations of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, some of which are known, from
experimental animal studies, to be carcinogenic. Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact.
Ingestion: May cause severe gastrointestinal distress with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea Aspiration into lungs may cause pulmonary
oedema and chemical pneumonitis. May be readily absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract.
Section 4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Emergency & First Aid Procedures: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. If rash or irritation develops, get medical attention.
Launder clothing before re-use. If in eyes, irrigate with flowing water immediately and continuously for fifteen minutes. Get medical attention
promptly.
If inhaled, remove to fresh air. Administer oxygen if necessary. Get medical attention if symptoms persist or exposure was severe.
Due to possible aspiration into the lungs, DO NOT induce vomiting if ingested. Get medical attention immediately. NOTE TO DOCTOR:
Administer activated carbon if indicated.
Section 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Extinguishing Media: Use water spray or fog, alcohol-type foam, dry chemical or CO2
Fire Fighting Procedure: Use a self-contained breathing apparatus with full face piece operated in pressure-demand or other positive
pressure mode.
Combustible. Keep fire exposed containers cool using water spray.
Unusual Fire And Explosion Hazards: At elevated temperatures, vapours can form an ignitable mixture with air. Vapours can flow along
surfaces to distant ignition sources and flash back.
SECTION 6 - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
If Material Is Spilled Or Released: Small Spill: Absorb on paper, cloth or other material
Large Spill: Dyke to prevent entering any sewer or waterway. Transfer liquid to a holding container. Cover residue with dirt, or suitable
chemical adsorbent. Use personal protective equipment as necessary.

SECTION 7 - HANDLING and STORAGE
The drums should be stored, with their seals intact, in conditions that avoid extremes of temperature. Bulk deliveries should be stored in
carbon steel tanks. Under these conditions the shelf life of the product would be approx. 2 years. When handling the material good hygiene
practices should be observed. Avoid prolonged and repeated exposure.
Avoid heat, sparks and open flames. Avoid breathing of vapours and contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Keep container closed when not in
use. Hazardous product residue may remain in emptied container. Do not re-use empty container without commercial cleaning or
reconditioning
SECTION 8 - EXPOSURE CONTROLS, PERSONAL PROTECTION
Respiratory Protection: When concentrations exceed the exposure limits specified, use of an approved organic vapour cartridge
respirator is recommended. Where the protection factor of the respirator may be exceeded, use of a self-contained breathing unit may be
necessary.
Ventilation: General ventilation should be provided to maintain ambient concentrations below nuisance levels. Local ventilation of emission
sources may be necessary to maintain ambient concentrations below recommended exposure limits.
Protective Clothing: Chemical resistant gloves and chemical goggles should be used to prevent skin and eye contact.
