Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician. Flush eyes
with water as a precaution. If irritation persists get medical attention.
space
Inhalation
Move to fresh air. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Call a physician or Poison Control
Centre immediately. No specific treatment is necessary since this material is not likely to be
hazardous by inhalation. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician if symptoms
develop or persist.

5. Fire Fighting Measures
space
Suitable extinguishing media
Carbon dioxide (CO2). Alcohol foam. Water spray. Dry chemical. Water Fog. Polymer foam.
space
Special protective equipment for firefighters
In the event of fire, wear self contained breathing apparatus.
space
Specific methods
In the event of fire, cool tanks with water spray. Water mist may be used to cool closed containers.
space
Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards
May burn, but does not ignite readily. Containers may explode when heated.
.
6. Accidental Release Measures
space
Evacuation Procedures
Keep unnecessary personnel away. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages
cannot be contained.
space
Personal precautions
Use personal protective equipment. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Do not touch
damaged containers or spilled material unless wearing appropriate protective clothing.
space
Environmental precautions
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not contaminate water.
space
Methods for cleaning up
Soak up with inert absorbent material. Shovel into suitable container for disposal. Use a
non-combustible material like vermiculite, sand or earth to soak up the product and place into a
container for later disposal. Dike far ahead of liquid spill for later disposal. Never return spills in
original containers for re-use. Large Spills: Wet down with water and dike for later disposal. After
removal flush contaminated area thoroughly with water.
space
Containment Procedures
Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk. Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or
confined areas. Dike the spilled material, where this is possible. Use water spray to reduce vapors
