HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
Health effects:
No specific data for chronic exposure however Garrards Exterm-an-Ant may present a
hazard with direct eye contact, prolonged skin contact and with the ingestion of
excessive amounts.
Swallowed: Harmful if swallowed causing vomiting and diarrhoea
Eye: May produce irritation upon ocular contact
Skin: May produce irritation and dermatitis to sensitive skin
Inhalation: Over exposure may cause slight irritation to respiratory system
Chronic Toxicity:
THERE ARE NO KNOWN HEALTH CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE. NONE OF
THE INGREDIENTS ARE LISTED UNDER US NTP, OSHA, IARC AS KNOWN OR POTENTIAL
CARCINOGINS.
First Aid: If poisoning occurs contact a Doctor or Poisons Information
Centre. Phone Australia 131 126
Swallowed: DO NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of milk or water.
Seek medical attention immediately.
Eyes: Holding eyelid open, wash eyes with copious amounts of
fresh water. Seek medical attention immediately.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap
and water.
Inhalation: Move to an outside area with fresh air and seek medical
attention if patient experiences breathing difficulty.
Advice to Doctor: Treat poisoning symptomatically as required.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Exposure limits: Not established
Ventilation: No special ventilation requirements are necessary when
used outdoors as directed however indoors ensure
adequate natural ventilation.
Personal Protection: Keep out of reach of children and pets. When opening the
product container and using the product, wear gloves and
adequate clothing to protect exposed skin. An eyewash
should be included in a first aid kit available to product
users.
Flammabiliy: Non-flammable. Does not burn

SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
Storage and Transport: Store in the closed original container in a dry, well
ventilated area, as cool as possible but out of direct
sunlight away from access by children or animals.
Schedule S5 Poison. Not a Dangerous Good for
transport.
Spills and Disposal: Contain and sweep up all spilled material using absorbent
such as vermiculite or similar material and place in a
labelled container for disposal as per State regulations.
DO NOT flush spilled material down drains or contaminate
waterways. DO NOT incinerate spilled product or
containers. Wear rubber gloves, overalls and eye goggles
or face shield.

Fire / Explosion Hazard: Not flammable. Does not burn or polymerise.
OTHER INFORMATION
Environmental: Avoid contamination and run off to the aquatic
environment.
