Acute - Eye May irritate the eyes.
Acute - Skin May irritate the skin. Acute dermal LD50>2000 mg/kg.
Acute - Inhaled Not applicable.

fipronil is not a human carcinogen.
First Aid
Swallowed If swallowed, immediately contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre
(telephone 13 11 26), and follow the advice given. Keep under medical
supervision.

(telephone 13 11 26), and follow the advice given. Show this Material Safety Data
Sheet to a doctor.
First Aid Facilities Ensure washing facilities are available.
Other Information DO NOT attempt to give anything to a semi-conscious or unconcious person.
Advice to Doctor
Advice to Doctor Treat symptomatically. No specific antidote known. Phenobarbital and to a lesser
extent, benzodiazepines, have been shown experimentally to be effective in
preventing convulsions induced by Fipronil. Fipronil is slowly absorbed through
the gut. Absorption may be decreased by the use of gastric lavage, saline
purgative and activated charcoal (possible ento-hepatic recirculation).
