HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION

Health Effects

Acute                         :Swallowed          : Irritating, nauseating and can cause vomiting.

                               Eye                : Irritating.

                               Skin               : Irritating. Can defat skin.

                               Inhaled            : 1. May cause dizziness or headache on prolonged exposure.

                                                  : 2. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating & inhaling

                                                                 contents can be fatal.

Chronic                       :                   : Prolonged contact with skin can cause dermatitis.



First Aid                     : Swallowed         : Do not induce vomiting. Give a glass of water to drink. Seek

                                                             medical attention

                               Eye                : If contacted in the eyes, hold eyes open, flood with water for at

                                                             least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.

                               Skin               : Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and

                                                             water.

                               Inhaled            : Remove from contaminated area. Contact doctor if necessary.



Advice to Doctor              : Poisons Information Centre(Telephone 13 11 26 - all states 24 hours )

                                               If swallowed treat for liquid HydroCarbon (like petrol) poisoning.







PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Exposure Standards            : Not established



Engineering Standards         : Use only in well ventilated areas.



Personal Protection           : Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Intentional misuse by deliberately

                              concentrating and inhaling contents can be harmful or fatal.



Flammability                  : Highly flammable. Eliminate all ignition sources.



Extinguishing Media           : Use Water, Water fog, Foam or CO2, Dry Chemical.







SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION

Storage & Transport           : Store in cool dry place,. Keep containers tightly close.



Spill & Disposal               : Prevent, by means available, spillage from entering water drains or water course.

Absorb using vermiculite, or similar material and collect in plastic drums.
