Ingestion: Causes vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Eye Contact: Check for and remove any contact lenses. Immediately flush eyes with running water for at least 15
minutes, keeping eyelids open. Get medical attention immediately.
Skin Contact: Wash contaminated skin with mild soap and water for 15 minutes.
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, get immediate
medical attention.
Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention. Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious
or convulsing person. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head below hips to prevent aspiration of liquid into the lungs.
Administer artificial respiration if breathing has stopped. If the heart has stopped, trained personnel should begin
cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) immediately.
Notes to Physician: Treatment based on sound judgment of physician and individual reactions of patient.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flash Point: None.
Flash Point Method: Not applicable.
Autoignition Temperature: Not applicable.
Flammable Limits in Air (%): Not applicable.
Extinguishing Media: Do not use water, CO2 or foam on material itself. Some of these materials react violently with
water. Use dry chemical, dry sand, soda ash or lime or withdraw from area and let fire burn. Dithionite fires may require
flooding with water in order to eliminate hazardous reaction since the materials generate their own oxygen.
Special Exposure Hazards: Do not get water inside container. Containers exposed to direct flame contact should be
cooled with large quantities of water as needed to prevent weakening of container structure. Withdraw immediately in case
of rising sound from venting safety devices or discolouration of tank. Always stay away from the end of tanks.
Special Protective Equipment: Fire fighters should wear full protective clothing, including self-contained breathing
equipment.
NFPA RATINGS FOR THIS PRODUCT ARE: HEALTH 2, FLAMMABILITY 1, REACTIVITY 2
HMIS RATINGS FOR THIS PRODUCT ARE: HEALTH 2, FLAMMABILITY 1 , REACTIVITY 2

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal Precautionary Measures: Wear appropriate protective equipment.
Environmental Precautionary Measures: Prevent from entering sewers, waterways or low areas.
Procedure for Clean Up: Pick up solids and put in an appropriate sealed container for later disposal. Flush area with
water to remove trace residue. Avoid contact with combustible materials.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling: For industrial use only. Handle and open containers with care. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do
not ingest. Avoid inhalation of chemical. Empty containers may contain hazardous product residues. Keep the containers
closed when not in use. Launder contaminated clothing prior to reuse. Protect against physical damage. Use appropriate
personnel protective equipment. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid dust generation and provide for room ventilation
during handling.
Storage: Keep containers tightly closed. Avoid storage with incompatible materials. Protect against moisture, water and
physical damage.
