SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation
persists.

EYES: Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention for any
symptoms.

INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration. If breathing is
difficult, administer oxygen provided a qualified operator is present. Get medical attention.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

FLAMMABLE PROPERTIES

FLASH POINT: 108F
FLASH POINT METHOD: TCC
AUTOIGNITION TEMPERATURE: ~550F
UPPER FLAME LIMIT (volume % in air): 6.0
LOWER FLAME LIMIT (volume % in air): 0.9
FLAME PROPAGATION RATE (solids): Not applicable.
OSHA FLAMMABILITY CLASS: Flammable liquid.

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
Use water fog, carbon dioxide, dry chemical or regular foam.

UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS:
Carbon oxides and various hydrocarbons form when burned. Highly flammable vapors are heavier than air, and
may accumulate in low areas and spread along the ground away from handling site.

SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PRECAUTIONS/INSTRUCTIONS:
Evacuate area of all unnecessary personnel. Shut off all ignition sources if possible. Use NIOSH-approved self-
contained breathing apparatus and other protective equipment if conditions warrant. Water fog or spray may be
used to cool containers and equipment. DO NOT spray water directly on fire. Product will float and could re-ignite
on surface of water.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

IN CASE OF SPILL OR OTHER RELEASE: (See section 8 for recommended personal protective equipment.)
Immediately remove all ignition sources. Keep people away. Keep out of water sources and sewers. Absorb in
dry, inert material (sand, clay, etc.) and transfer to disposal drums using non-sparking equipment.

Spills and releases may have to be reported to Federal and/or local authorities. See Section 15 regarding
reporting requirements.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

NORMAL HANDLING: (See section 8 for recommended personal protective equipment.)
Use with caution. Do not get into eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Avoid breathing vapors. Keep away from heat,
open flame or sparks. Use with adequate ventilation.

STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS:
Store in original container in a dry place at 50 鈥? 90F (10 鈥? 32C). Do not store in direct sunlight.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

ENGINEERING CONTROLS:
Use local exhaust ventilation or general mechanical exhaust ventilation to keep airborne levels below the
recommended limits.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

SKIN PROTECTION: Use chemical resistant gloves, apron, boots and clothing. Avoid skin contact.

EYE PROTECTION: Use chemical splash goggles or faceshield.

RESPIRATORY For concentrations exceeding the recommended exposure level, use a NIOSH-
PROTECTION: approved air purifying respirator.

ADDITIONAL Eyewash and safety shower.
