STABILITY: Stable
INCOMPATIBILITY AND CONDITIONS TO AVOID: None known
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION OR BYPRODUCTS: Thermal decomposition may yield oxides of carbon, monomer fumes, and
oxides of nitrogen. Heat setting of GAC-400, GAC-900 and Silk Screen Fabric Paint or Gel yields trace amounts of formaldehyde.
HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur
================================ SECTION VI - HEALTH HAZARD DATA ==========================
INHALATION HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Irritation of the nose, throat and lungs may result from
overexposure to ammonia, and formaldehyde. Overexposure to the proprietary ingredient listed in Section II may cause headache, fatigue,
confusion, nausea. Exposure to dusts and mists from sanding and spraying may be irritating to the respiratory tract. Prolonged exposure to
excessive concentrations of formaldehyde has been linked to cancer.
For products containing formaldehyde:
WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer.

EYE CONTACT HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Contact may be irritating to eyes.
SKIN CONTACT HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Contact may be irritating. At 100% concentration, the
proprietary ingredient listed has been reported to cause skin dermatitis in some individuals.
INGESTION HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: May cause irritation to gastrointestinal system.
Octylphenoxypolyethoxyethanol may be harmful if swallowed.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS GENERALLY AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Pre-existing skin, eye, or respiratory conditions may be
aggravated by exposure.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES:
EYE CONTACT: Flush with water for 15 minutes. SEE DOCTOR if any symptoms persist.
SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water. SEE DOCTOR if skin irritation occurs.
INHALATION: Remove subject to fresh air.
INGESTION: If swallowed, dilute by giving 2 or more glasses of water to drink ONLY IF CONSCIOUS! SEE DOCTOR.
===================== SECTION VII - PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE ==================
STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Floors may be slippery, care should be exercised to
avoid falls. Dike and contain spill with inert material.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD: Dispose as nonhazardous latex paint per local regulations
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING: Avoid freezing - product may coagulate.
=============================SECTION VIII - CONTROL MEASURES =============================
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: None required under normal use. When sanding or spraying, use a NIOSH certified dust and mist
respirator.
VENTILATION: Have good ventilation when heat-setting GAC-400 or GAC-900. For continuous use of other products, dilution
ventilation is recommended.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES: None required during normal use. For techniques requiring continual hand contact, gloves are recommended.
OTHER PROTECTIVE CLOTHING OR EQUIPMENT: None required during normal use.
WORK/HYGIENIC PRACTICES: All Golden products should be used in accordance with safe handling practices, including: do not eat,
drink or smoke when working with materials, avoid excessive skin contact, wash hands and face thoroughly after use, separate work and
living quarters and keep professional materials out of reach of children.
