Section V 鈥? Health Hazards and First Aid
ACUTE EFFECTS: Glyphosate is considered to be slightly toxic. Can cause skin and mucous
membranes irritation.
CHRONIC EFFECTS: Suspected carcinogen
EYE CONTACT: Flush with plenty of water for at 15鈥?20 minutes; assure adequate flushing by
separating eyelids with fingers. Get medical attention.
SKIN CONTACT: Wash with water for 15鈥?20 minutes; remove contaminated clothing; wash
clothing before reuse.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If breathing becomes difficult, give oxygen. If not
breathing, give artificial respiration. Get medical attention.
INGESTION: Immediately drink 2 glasses of water or milk to dilute. Do not administer
liquids to an unconscious or convulsing person. Get medical attention.

WASTE DISPOSAL: Burn in a chemical incinerator equipped with an afterburner and scrubber.
Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
